St Mary's Risk Assessment
Our group decided to choose 'St Mary's risk assessment' as the structure of the assessment was simple to follow and most recommended. It displays the hazard, existing precautions and recommended precautions. However the 'Risk rating' stood out to us, and so we thought that this information would be useful to our own risk assessment. With that, the hazard, existing precautions and such; will also be included as they describe what possible dangers would commence, and what we could do after, and before the event. The reason for making a risk assessment is so we protect ourselves and Churchdown School from being in court as well as obeying with the law. It helps us focus on the risks that are important in where we are filming – especially the ones with the potential to cause real harm. Since our group already knew the precautions and dangers of what could happen whilst were filming, we only thought of two risks. Which are listed below, similar to the St Mary's structure. In the St Mary's assessment, they've structured their everything in a table, which I found more understandable and simple than arranging the hazards and such, as a essay. In our risk assessment, there were a few information that our group didn't decide to add in, from the St Mary's assessment. Our group didn't add the following from the St Mary's assessment;
- Action: Action Agreed, Target date for completion and completed
- Recommended Precautions: New Risk Rating (Likelihood, Severity & Risk)
